Recipe of fluffy cake with cherries it's perfect for this period. Now there are cherries, tomatoes, sour, full of aromatic juice and only good to be turned into something delicious. I decided to make a fluffy cake with cherries, but not the Romanian version but the English one with butter and without the chore of separating the eggs. It is much easier to prepare, the butter gives it a special taste and it is delicious. It is one of my favorite cakes and I prepare it very often in the summer.
For me, cherry cakes are a childhood dessert. I remember eagerly waiting for the cherries to ripen for my mother to make her cherry cake. It was a simple pandispan, but for us it was the best summer dessert. When I was with my grandparents, I was sadder because my grandmother didn't know how to do it cherry cake. At the age of 12, I remember taking a small kitchen magazine. In it I found the recipe for the cherry cake. I decided to do it, even though my grandmother had an old stove that was burning.
To my surprise, the cake worked and was a delight. I was so proud of myself and even my grandfather, who was more grumpy, was impressed by his niece's feat. That summer I made my first cakes and I think that's when my love for cooking started. Returning to the fluffy cake recipe with cherries, I chose a lighter recipe, with an appetizing butter flavor that goes perfectly with cherries.
This recipe for cherry cake I find it much lighter and tastier than cocoa cake, especially since it is prepared much faster and honestly the taste is much better. The recipe can be easily adapted as you wish. You can turn it into muffins, fruit cake or you can make a cake by putting the dough in a rectangular tray. You can even double the recipe to get a larger amount. Of course, the fruits can also change. You can use cherries, strawberries, blueberries or other favorite fruits.

How to make the best American blueberry pancakes
In a bowl add flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar, and mix well.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Add a pinch of salt over the egg whites and mix very well, until you get a very strong foam.
Then beat the yolks well, until they become frothy and add the milk and oil over them.
Then add the vanilla essence, lemon peel and orange. Mix for homogenization.
Gradually incorporate the flour mixture over the yolk and milk. Then add the beaten egg whites over them, stirring gently so as not to break the air bubbles. At the end add the blueberries.
Heat a non-stick pan. Grease the pan with a little melted butter when it is hot. Pour with the polish from the pancake composition and let the pancake bake until it starts to form small air bubbles on the surface, and the bottom comes off easily and is reddish. Turn the pancake on the other side and continue to bake until golden brown.
Do the same with the rest of the pancakes, until you finish the composition.

How to properly grow a blueberry bush - tips on planting!
Before buying blueberry seedlings, find out what are the characteristics of this plant, where and how to plant it, how to have care for it, so that the shrubs grow large, strong and enjoy a good harvest for many years.
The beneficial properties of blueberries have been known for a long time. And all the miraculous properties of this plant are not only beliefs of the people, but are confirmed by several scientific studies.
Be sure to plant a few blueberry bushes in your garden if you want to be healthy, full of energy and live a long and happy life!
Regular consumption of blueberries (whether they have been grown in a swamp or in your garden) helps to slow down the aging process of the brain and rejuvenate the whole body.
And thanks to a unique combination of organic acids, phenolic compounds and plant hormones, blueberries improve the functioning of the thyroid gland, protect against atherosclerosis and heart disease, have a vasodilating, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, choleretic, diuretic and radioprotective effect.
But, unlike most crops that grow in our garden, blueberries prefer acidic soils (pH 3.5-4.5). This is why the standard tips for planting and growing berry bushes in this case do not work, even, on the contrary, can cause the plant to perish.
Find below tips on how to properly plant blueberry bushes so that they can adapt and start growing quickly.
How to properly plant blueberry bushes
Usually, the seedlings of this plant are sold in containers. Therefore, it does not matter when you plant blueberries & # 8211 spring, fall or even summer & # 8211 planting instructions will be the same.
First, go through your garden and choose a place with plenty of sunlight, located on a slightly higher portion of the ground, but protected from the cold north wind.
Keep in mind that shady areas, where there is little air and at low altitudes, with heavy soil, are not suitable for blueberries.
If you want to harvest a rich crop of blueberries annually, then plant not one, but several varieties at the same time.
Now that you have chosen the right place, you can start preparing the pits for planting. It is usually recommended to be of the following sizes:
-50 * 40 cm in the case of light soil
-60-70 * 25-30 cm in case of heavy soil (mandatory with a drainage layer of 5-10 cm).
For blueberries the most suitable are peat soils and those with large amounts of sand. If the soil in your garden does not meet these criteria, fill the pits with a special soil mixture of 5 parts red peat, 2 parts conifer sawdust and 1 part sand.
Planting blueberry seedlings is a simple process, but requires certain rules.
The most important says that plants can not be planted with twisted roots and bent inside!
This is why, shortly before planting, soak the seedlings (in containers) for 10-15 minutes in water, then carefully remove them from the containers and carefully loosen the twisted roots. If you do not do this, and plant the blueberry seedlings as they are, in the first few years they will grow very poorly, then dry out.
Blueberry seedlings are fixed in the pits in such a way that, after you add the substrate, they are 5-6 cm deeper than they previously grew. Digging pits are formed around the bushes and at least 5 liters of water are poured into each of them.
After the water soaks, mulch the area around the trunks with sawdust or plant debris from the soil surface of the coniferous forest (the thickness of the layer should be 5-8 cm). Mulch will prevent moisture from evaporating.
Short blueberry varieties are recommended to be planted at a distance of 80 cm, and medium and tall - at a distance of 1.2-1.5 m.
