Prepare the sauce first. The vegetables are cleaned, washed. Onions and bell peppers are cut into scales, the garlic is crushed, the peeled zucchini is cut into thin slices. The tone is leaking.

Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, put the onion, pepper and garlic and a little water, then let it soften a little. Add the zucchini and leave for a few more minutes. Add the tomato juice, possibly a little water, if it is too thick. When it starts to boil, add the olives and tuna, mix lightly and let it boil for 1-2 minutes. Season to taste at the end (olives, tuna and tomato juice have salt!).

Meanwhile, boil the pasta in salted water, according to the instructions on the package.

Put the pasta on 2 plates and pour the sauce with tuna and vegetables on top. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, I didn't have it and I put grated cheese.

Mediterranean salad with tuna and vegetables

Mediterranean salad with tuna and vegetables, simple and quick recipe for lunch or dinner. Healthy and filling salad recipe, with canned tuna, ingredients and step by step preparation. Salad with fish and wholemeal bread croutons.

Today I propose an absolutely wonderful Mediterranean salad! Full of color and taste, healthy and full. Wholemeal croutons give it a special flavor, I can't wait for you to try it too. I used a mix of salads (arugula, white and red lettuce, baby spinach), but green salad works just as well for this quick recipe. The main ingredient of the salad is the tuna fillet in its own juice from Lotka.

Lotka preserves do not contain E's or preservatives, you can use them with confidence for tasty and healthy dishes.

Did I make you want it? I look forward to trying the Mediterranean salad recipe and telling me what you thought.

Tuna vegetable meatballs

Because we really like meatballs and we try to eat healthy, we experimented with a flour recipe with lots of vegetables and tuna. Of course you can give up the tone but I would not advise you because it has an important role, it gives them a very good taste.

Meatballs with vegetables and tuna are made quickly and quite a lot comes out of one portion. You can serve them as such, with rice, spinach or simply with a salad. Many times I eat half when I make them so the salad is the fastest to make and I recommend it with them.

As an ingredient I used eggplant, potatoes and carrots. If you want you can change the eggplant with zucchini, I will probably try this option next time, zucchini can be found everywhere and are cheaper. However, you must try them because they are very good.

I used pieces of tuna in my own juice, as I wrote in a post on the facebook page of the blog you can find in the Mega Image stores pressed tuna from John West, it's very practical because you just have to open the can and add it when composing meatballs, it should not be drained of juice or oil, it should not be pressed, so you save time and money in the end because it has a very good price.

Otherwise a few spices a little olive oil and that's it, I recommend you make them bigger because they are more practical. I hope you try them and we liked them and I will definitely repeat the recipe.

Oven tuna - the ideal temperature and cooking times

When you cook the fish, regardless of the assortment, at high temperatures, you bring out the flavor. To make a perfect tuna steak in the oven, it is very important to preheat the oven to a minimum of 180 degrees Celsius. This temperature depends a lot on the type of tuna you want to cook, but also on the recipe. If you cook a whole fish, for example, it must be kept in the oven at a temperature of at least 200 degrees, according to

Likewise, cooking times can vary depending on several factors, such as the thickness of the piece of meat, its type, the amount of cooking in the tray, etc. A whole tuna, for example, will need about 30 minutes in the oven to be ready. Aluminum foil also influences the temperature and cooking time of the fish in the oven. Due to the foil, the fish cooks about 20-25% faster.

You can tell that the tone is cooked correctly by testing the fork. When you insert the teeth of the fork into the fish, it should break apart easily, along the natural lines of the meat.
